Fees
Retaining Fee of $2,000 (+ GST)* refundable upon completion
Completion Fee 1 month's rental or $3,000 whichever is greater. All prices are subject to GST.*
* GST stands for Goods and Services Tax which is a broad-based consumer tax levied at a flat rate of 12.5% on all goods and services supplied in New Zealand.
1. No obligation introductory meeting - The first step is to arrange a meeting by telephone or in person to discuss your needs, time-frames and how our service can be tailored to suit. We will advise on current market conditions and discuss some initial considerations for you to take into account when considering renting.
2. Property search - We will commence a detailed search for all rental properties that meet your requirements which will incorporate both those houses that are available on the open rental market as well as searching out properties that are not available on the open market. This particularly tends to be the case if you require a furnished rental property.
3. View all suitable properties on your behalf and collate short-list based on brief - We personally visit all properties that fit your brief and compile a short-list that best meets your requirements.
4. Provide a report with digital photographs and comments as to suitability of prospective properties - We take digital photographs and provide a written commentary on aspects of each of the short-listed properties.
5. Advise on appropriate rental prices - We will advise you on appropriate rental prices and offer you reassurance about the reasonableness (or otherwise) of the price asked.
6. Liaise and negotiate with agent/lessor - We will handle all negotiations with the agent/lessor on your behalf to ensure that you obtain the best possible rental price and that all other conditions of rental (e.g. term) are favourable to you.
7. Welcome you on arrival and ensure you are comfortable - If you are arriving directly from overseas, we will meet you at the airport and deliver you to your new home.
