We collect your personal information in order to:
Accurately create and manage contracts to assist with the sale and purchase of real estate.
To complete customer due diligence and comply with the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009.
Assist buyers of properties to make good purchasing decisions when acting in the capacity as buyer’s agents.
Besides our staff, we share this information with:
REINZ in the form of monthly sales reports in line with our obligation under the act.
We may share information with your broker and/or solicitor in order to assist you with the sale and purchase of real estate. We request your authorization before doing so.
Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter proof of ID and address, we will possibly be unable to complete Customer Due Diligence and represent you under the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009. There are some alternatives to providing us with this information, such as arranging confirmation via you own lawyer or accountant. Please discuss with us if this is a concern.
