Auckland HomeFinders was established in 2003 to counter the most fundamental failing of the New Zealand property market; that it is unfairly stacked in favour of sellers and against buyers - and we wanted to change that. 
Buying property in New Zealand can be a minefield for the unprepared. Houses for sale without advertised prices, secret reserves, high pressure auctions, leaky buildings, dummy bidding, multi-offers and much more. One mistake can end up costing hundreds of thousands of dollars. Let the buyer beware, as the saying goes.
Be under no illusion, the seller's agent works exclusively for the seller and has one declared objective - to maximise the sales price for their client. We thought it was about time the buyer had some serious representation, expertise and firepower to level the playing field to negotiate strongly and buy effectively. Let the seller beware for a change.
